Attempt to Identify
On 01/25/2012 at approximately 5:00 pm, 2 male subjects came to the dealership looking at cars. It is reported that they wanted to look at the 3 vehicles that are now missing and they asked to see the inside of them. Surveillance Videos of the parking lot at the dealership shows the theft in progress. At 11:13 pm., 3 suspects are dropped off and then walk from an adjacent parking lot down the drive to the dealership. The 3 suspects then walked across the Used Car lot where they entered the 3 vehicles in question. The accused immediately started the vehicle and exited the lot.

Attempt to Identify Case 1
The subjects pictured were involved with purchase attempts made at a Meijer in Lansing, MI on Thursday January 5th at about 10:00 pm. The subjects used a credit card stolen out of Meridian Township earlier that day. A third subject was seen with these two subjects, but no useable photo of the 3rd subject is available. The Meijer transactions were declined, but the subjects were able to make purchases with the stolen card at a Rite Aid Pharmacy in Lansing, MI at about 9:00 pm the same evening. The subjects are believed to be in their late teens (possibly high school students), and may have been soliciting for a church group prior to the theft in Meridian Township.

Attempt to Identify Case 2
On the evening of Saturday, January 14th the victim was with several friends and was watching TV. In the morning when the victim awoke, it was discovered that the victim’s laptop computer, purse and a friend’s backpack was missing. At a later date the two individuals pictured used the victim’s credit card at a Dollar General store in Lansing, Mi.
The Individuals are described as:
Subject 1#: Black male, bald, facial hair and a brown jacket.
Subject 2#: Black female, thin build, black coat with a silver logo.

On Tuesday, December 20, 2011 officers responded to the 900 block of N. Capital in Lansing for a stabbing. The victim was a delivery driver for a local restaurant. A female called to place an order for 50 tacos and requested to have them delivered to the 200 block of W. Oakland in Lansing. This address turned out to be an abandoned house. The caller requested the driver be able to break a hundred dollar bill when he came. The victim arrived with the order and was let in by a Black female and then was attacked by 3 unknown male subjects. Police are attempting to identify the female in the attached composite.

Debit Card Fraud
On Saturday, December 24th the victim had used a debit card at a Gas Station located in the City of Lansing. Later the victim realized that they no longer had the debit card. Victim cancelled the debit card as soon as possible. But by then someone had used the debit card on three separate occasions.

Armed Robbery
On Thursday, December 29th at approximately 7:00 PM, an individual robbed the Rite Aid located in the City of Lansing. The individual walked into the store with a black handgun in his right hand. He chambered up a round as he walked in, then pointed the weapon at the cashiers and demanded the money. After completing the robbery he left the store on foot.
He is an unknown b/m, 20’s, 5’8 - 5’9, medium complexion, wore light blue Chicago White Sox hat, grey hoodie, black jacket, black jeans, black shoes with white soles, pink gloves, and a black ski mask that covered his mouth and nose.

Attempt to Identify Case 2
On Thursday November 17th officers responded to a local hospital for a larceny from vending machines complaint.
Upon review of the surveillance video it was determined that the individual in the video, suspected in this larceny was the same individual seen in video of other larcenies throughout the area from earlier dates. It is believed that this person travels through out the Mid Michigan area performing larcenies from vending machines.
The Lansing Police would like to identify the person in the videos and photographs.

On Monday November 14th a Larceny from a Vehicle offense occurred at the Celebration Cinema on Edgewood Blvd in Lansing. During the incident a purse containing an ATM card was taken along with other items. On Tuesday November 15th the individual pictured used the stolen card at an ATM machine in East Lansing. Detectives would like to speak to this individual in order to determine how she came into possession of the stolen card.

Incident Information
On Friday December 12th at approximately 3:00 in the morning, Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Michigan Ave, in Lansing, in response to a breaking and entering call. While the resident was out it appears as if 2 different groups of individuals enter the building. The 1st groups secure entry by climbing the side of the building and enter thru a second story window. The 2nd group arrives later and makes several trips in and out of the building. The 2nd group gains access to the residence by breaking into a ground floor entrance.
Item stolen include cash, electronics, computer games and the victims husky dog.

Armed Robbery
On Wednesday Afternoon, Nov. 16th A subject used a semi-automatic pistol to rob employees of Plato’s Closet, a second-hand clothing retailer on Grand River Ave in Meridian Township. He is described as a well-dressed black male, age 30-35, 6’4”-6’5”, wearing a charcoal pea coat, black baseball cap, light button-down shirt and dark pants. He spoke with a thick “African” accent that was described as foreign and not American Urban. He entered the store through the front door, exited the same way, and then made his way around to the back of the store where his vehicle was concealed. He drove a light-colored, possibly white with tan interior, small to medium SUV, which he had parked up against the back of the building to obscure the plate.

The Lansing Police Department Is Attempting To Identify A Suspect In A Homicide.
On October 5th, 2011 at 9:00 P.M. Officers responded to a Shots Fired 911call near the intersection of Chestnut and Hillsdale in Lansing, Mi.
When Officers arrived they found Christopher Fandel in the front seat of a vehicle. Victim had been shot and subsequently expired.
With the help of a witness a composite drawing of a possible suspect has been developed. The Lansing Police Department asks that anyone with information on the possible suspect in this case to contact them.

During the late afternoon on Friday, Oct 28th, 2011 Officers responded to an Armed Robbery in progress call at the Techno Mia Beauty Salon in the 3500 Block of South Cedar, in Lansing Michigan.
Witness state that the suspect entered the establishment struck the employee at the front desk and demanded money. The suspect then walked around the desk to retrieve the money. Witness saw a small black handgun. The suspect then ordered the employees into a back storage area, and left the establishment.
The accused is described as a black male in his mid 20's. 6'1-6'2 with a thicker build possibly 220-230. He had shaggy hair that was about shoulders length and appeared like it had been straighten but it didn't work.
Accused had a scruffy beard and mustache with thick rimmed black squared "nerdy" rims.
Accused was last seen in a red hoody with a black coat over it along with a dark hunting style hat that had flaps that covered his ears.
It is believed that the accused was in an older model green Oldsmobile Cutlass which had front end passenger side damage to the headlight area.

The Lansing Police Department Is Attempting To Identify Suspects In A Homicide.
On October 14th, 2011 at 5:53 Officers responded to an Armed Robbery in Progress call at the Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant on Michigan Ave. in Lansing Mi.
On the afternoon of October 14th the suspect entered the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant at 1620 E. Michigan Avenue. During a confrontation inside the store, shots were fired and a employee of the restaurant was struck and subsequently expired.
Video from an adjacent business shows an unknown make and model automobile drive past the camera and let the suspect out, later the video shows the suspect run from the scene and then shows what is believed to be the same auto speeding after the suspect.
Police are seeking assistance in identifying both any suspects and the make and model of the automobile.

Attempt To Identify Case
The Ingham County Sheriffs Office Is Attempting To Identify Suspects In A Home Invasion.
On October 15th, 2011 two suspects were involved in a home invasion that occurred in the 3800 block of Calypso, in Delhi Township.
In the evening on the 15th of October, while a group of friends were watching TV a shot shattered the rear sliding door and 2 subjects entered the residence. The subjects ordered everyone to the floor and took personal property from them. While one subject stayed with the victims the other left the room and began rummaging through the house, eventually stealing cash.
Subject 1: Tall thin black male, dressed in black clothing with a bandana that kept slipping of his face, Victim notice markings on the suspects cheek (See Composite)
Subject 2: A black male, shorter than subject 1 and larger, wearing a black puffy coat and black bandana.

The Lansing Police Department Is Attempting To Identify Suspects In A String of Robberies.
On September 2nd, 9th, and 30th, two suspects were involved in robberies and attempted robberies of a local check cashing business on S. Cedar in Lansing, Michigan.
On the 2nd the suspects forced entry into the business as it opened and robbed the establishment of cash.
On the 9th the suspects were spotted hiding near the back of the same business. The suspects fled before the authorities arrived.
On the 30th the suspects again tried to rob the same business, but were unsuccessful.
The suspects were described as: #1 Suspect – Wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a Blue Bandana across the face. #2 Suspect – Wearing a gray coat and an unknown color Bandana across the face.

The Lansing Police Department Is Attempting To Identify A Suspect In A Bank Robbery Case.
Facts of Case: The Lansing Police Department is seeking information on the identity of the person that robbed the PNC Bank located at 3335 E. Michigan Ave in Lansing.
On May 17, 2011 at approximately 12:50 p.m. Lansing Police responded to a Bank Robbery at the PNC Bank located at 3335 E. Michigan Ave in Lansing. A Black male subject entered the bank with a black semi-auto handgun and demanded cash from the teller. He was described as a Black male, about 6’0” tall, slim and muscular build. He was wearing what appeared to be a short cut black wig, a dark colored jacket that zips up the front and blue jeans.
Recently received information indicates that this suspect may have returned to the area or be actively involved in recent robberies.

The Lansing Police Department Is Attempting To Identify A Suspect In A Burglary Case.
In the early hours of 9/23/11 Officers were dispatched to 100 block of W. Grand River as a result of a Home Invasion Complaint.
The suspect forced entry into the same residence twice on the same night after knowing persons were inside and of the police response. It is believed that the accused may have a vehicle.
The suspect is described as: B/M, 5'11"-6'0", bald, goatee and mustache with some gray in it. Average build, 170-180 lbs., wearing either black sweat pants and a grey sweat shirt, or gray sweat pants and a black sweat shirt. The suspect may have a facial injury.

Attempt To Identify Case #2
The Lansing Police Department Is Attempting To Identify A Suspect In A Robbery Case.
On 10/03/2011 at approximately 11:30pm hours Officers were dispatched to the Game Stop, 438 East Edgewood Blvd. in ref. to a Strong Armed Robbery complaint.
Employee had just locked the door, when unknown BM came to the front door. Employees were getting ready for a midnight sales event, and were not concerned when accused knocked on the door. Accused advised he wished to purchase a Playstation 3 system. Employee got the system from the back of the store. The accused then advised he had forgotten his wallet, and walked towards the front door. Employee went to unlock the door. The accused then returned to the counter and grabbed the video game system. The accused then put his hand in his pocket and told Employee to unlock the door. Accused did not make mention of a gun, but Employee was not sure. He then unlocked the door and the accused ran to a darker red SUV, leaving the scene.

Attempt To Identify
The Lansing Police Department is attempting to identify 2 suspects in a larceny case.
On Saturday 9/10/11 a larceny of approximately 140 Halia Beads took place at the Ingham Medical Hospital Gift Shop. Two suspects were seen on security video. On the video, one of the accused, an unknown white female, is seen opening a manicure set from a box, and breaking into the display case with a tool. The unknown female then takes the display bars and beads and put them in her pocket.
The suspects are two unknown white females. Vehicle involved is possibly a grey 4D Cadillac with an unknown plate.

Attempt To Locate
The Ingham County Sheriff’s Department is attempting to locate a 2007 EZ-GO Electric Golf Cart.
On either the evening of Sunday Sept 18th or the morning of Monday September 19th, 2011, a theft of a 2007 EZ-GO Electric Golf Cart that had been rented for the Capital Area Classic Soccer Tournament occurred. The vehicle was last seen on Sunday at 6:00 pm under a tent behind Holt Jr. High (1784 Aurelius Rd.). When the rental company arrived to pick the cart up on Monday at 10:00 am the cart was discovered to be missing. The keys were not in the cart.
The cart is described as a 2007 EZ-GO Electric Golf Cart, White with a roof and rear seats. The seats are tan in color. The serial Number is: 2469464. The vehicle is similar to the one in the photographs.

Case 1: Homicide on 8/22/2009

INFORMATION:
On August 22nd, 2009 10:22pm Officers were dispatched to a shooting that had just taken place in the 900 block of West Cavanaugh.
Facts of the Case:

On a Saturday evening. August 1st 2009, during a small gathering, Edric Raynard Hinton, age 19, was the victim of a homicide. While the group was together an unknown assailant fired multiple shots into the residence striking Mr. Hinton. At this time police do not believe the deceased was the intended victim.

On July 21st, 2008 9:17pm, Officers were dispatched to a man bleeding call that had been received from the 200 block of West Barnes.
Facts of the Case:

On a Monday evening. July 21st 2008, officers responding to a man bleeding call discovered the victim, Jason Kenneth Cook, age 32, deceased on the floor of his residence. The actual time of the shooting is believed to be earlier than the subsequent discovery of the body.

REQUEST TO HELP IDENTIFY ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT On August 15,2011 at approximately 8:06 am the Clinton County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence on M-21 also known as Second Street in the village of Fowler reference an armed robbery incident. Deputies investigating the robbery advised that at approximately 7:55am the suspect described as a white male 5'10" to 6' tall, with brown hair and a slim build came to the victim's door advising that his vehicle had broken down and asked to come in and use the phone. Once inside the residence the suspect produced a knife and demanded money from the victim. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and the victims personal vehicle which was later recovered on August 16, 2011 abandoned on Chadwick road west of Airport road approximately 1 mile north west of the City of Dewitt. A composite sketch of the suspect was generated which shows the suspect wearing a brown in color ball cap with distinctive sunglasses with bright yellow sides resting on top of the hat. On August 8, 2011 officers responded to an armed robbery at Casa de Verde located at 330 S. King in Lansing.

On August 1, 2011 at approximately 1:20 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the area of Center St. and Monroe St. (south east corner) on a report of a subject down possibly deceased. Officers located a subject deceased and began an investigation on a suspicious death. Detectives have interviewed acquaintances of the deceased in attempts to learn of the victim’s death. The initial autopsy report indicates undetermined cause of death awaiting further testing.

Location: Biggby Gourmet Coffee, 1429 W. Saginaw in East Lansing
Facts of Case: On July 10, 2011 at approximately 03:18 hours these two suspects broke into the Biggby Gourmet Coffee located at 1429 W. Saginaw in East Lansing. Suspects entered through a front door breaking it with an object causing injury to one of the subjects, they left blood behind. They went into the establishment and searched around the building for money from the day’s sales however, they were not able to locate any during the B&E.

Malicious Destruction of Property

Facts of Case: On Sunday 7/17/2011 between the hours of 12:30 am and 2:00 am multiple incidents of Malicious destruction of property crimes were committed with in the village of Westphalia, Clinton County. Some of the property that was damaged included numerous street light poles, Telephone ground boxes, multiple vehicles with tires punctured, landscape fences, ground lights, and an above ground swimming pool. Witnesses observed three unknown subjects on foot running from some of the damaged property. The damage is estimated at over $10,000 at this time. The victim was in the K-mart parking lot when three subjects in a mini van approached him. Three subjects got out and assaulted him. One of the subjects struck him in the head with a baseball bat. The victim sustained major injuries and required medical treatment. The suspects were described as,
Suspect 1- H/M thin build late teens early twenties, wearing a black shirt and shorts. The subject also had acne on his face.
Suspect 2- H/M thin build late teens early twenties, wearing a black shirt and shorts. The victim indicated that this subject was shorter then suspect 1.
Suspect 3- H/M was the driver of the vehicle.
VEHICLE INFORMATION
Oldsmobile or Chevy mini van, white in color. The windows were tinted on the side and rear of the vehicle. The vehicle had a tan interior.

On May 29, 2011 at approximately 11:10 hours officers were dispatched to an armed robbery that occurred at Kroger’s located at 921 W. Holmes Road, Lansing. The suspect approached the pharmacy counter and asked if they had any “Narco 7.5.” When the witness said she did have it the suspect said, “Give it to me.” The witness returned to the counter with a single dosage box. The accused then pulled out a black handgun from the front pocket of his hoody and said, “Give it all to me.”
The suspect is described as a White male in his 20’s, short brown hair, and long face, unshaven. He has a noticeable gap to the right side of his teeth. He was wearing a gray hoody with a logo on the front, a red baseball cap with a white logo and light colored pants. He was seen leaving in a 2008 or newer Chevy Malibu.

FELONIUS ASSAULT
Location: Big Bear Dr, Caledonia Twp
Date: April 21, 2011
The Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for questioning in an assault that occurred on April 21st in Caledonia Twp.
On 6/6/11 a 17 year old female victim made a report to the Sheriff’s Office that on April 21st at approximately 3:30 p.m. she was approached by a male subject while walking on Elizabeth Dr near Big Bear Dr. The male subject initially had a pleasant demeanor and walked with the victim until reaching a wooded area. Upon reaching the woods, the suspect assaulted the victim and then fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was able to escape and received minor injuries during the course of the assault. No weapons were seen or indicated.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 19 years old, 5’10”-6’0” tall with a thin but fit build, clean shaven with, shorter spiked blonde hair. He was wearing a tight, white Under Armor type running shirt, dark running shorts and running shoes that were primarily white in color (see attached composite).

On May 11, 2011 at approximately 22:55 hours we had an armed robbery at the Buddy’s Gas Station located 504 Michigan. Black male came in with a knife and demanded the money from the clerk. The clerk ran from the store to a Quality Dairy down the street and called police.

Facts of Case: The Lansing Police Department is seeking information on the identity of the person that robbed the Portland Federal Credit Union located at 2930 N. Grand River in Lansing.
On May 17, 2011 at approximately 09:30 a.m. we had a bank robbery at the Portland Federal Credit Union located at 2930 N. Grand River in Lansing. Subject walked into the bank and handed the bank teller a written note indicating he had a gun in his pocket and to give him all the money.
The subject was describe as a White male, about 35 years old and weighing about 185 lbs. He had on a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white shoes and dark sunglasses. The subject may have had a goatee and light brown colored hair.

Facts of Case: On April 13, 2011 two subjects entered the Auto Lot at 4701 N. Grand River (DJ’s Auto Lot) and removed the catalytic converters from five cars parked in the lot. The theft took place between 4:20 and 5:17 am. The subjects were dropped off on Young/Grand River and get picked up by the same vehicle on Alfred. The accused vehicle was driven by a third individual the vehicle is described as a light colored 4 door possibly a Pontiac Grand Prix or Acura Infinity.

Bank Robbery

Facts of Case: On March 29, 2011, at approximately 10:15 hours, the Citizens Bank located at 124 S. Main Street, Fowler, Michigan was robbed. The suspect entered the bank and produced a written note and requested money. The suspect kept telling the teller not to press the alarm button and to hurry.
The suspect is described as a White male, 20 to 40 years of age, 5’5” to 5’7” tall with a heavy build. He had a sandy or strawberry blond moustache and beard described as short and scruffy. He was wearing a puffy hooded jacket, red and gold in color, with the letters SF on the back and 49ers on the lower front portion of the jacket. The suspect was wearing dark gloves, sunglasses, and a dark colored ball cap with the hood of the jacket pulled over the cap.
A dark colored, mid-size, four-door passenger car was seen leaving from the same direction the suspect had fled after leaving the bank.

Home Invasion in Delhi Township
March 3, 2011
On March 3, 2011 Delhi Twp Officers were dispatched for a Home Invasion / UDAA that had just occurred in the 2300 Block of West Blvd. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s home through a garage entry door and stole two Garmin GPS, a LG Chocolate cell phone, and a Sanyo 20 inch television set. The suspect(s) also stole a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, teal in color. The attached pictures are of the actual vehicle. The vehicle had an improper Michigan license plate E6411R on it at the time it was stolen. The victim’s keys for the vehicle were taken from the home during the theft.
On March 4, 2011 Delhi Twp Officers responded for two Home Invasions. One was in the 1900 Block of Walnut St and the second one was in the 1900 Block of Hall St. At the Home Invasion on Hall St. suspect (s) stole a 2009 black Chevy Cobalt four door. The vehicle had a Michigan plate of BHK0181 (see attached photo of like vehicle).

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and approximately 30 to 35 years old. He has a medium build and is bald. Accused was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and a blue jogging suit with a red stripe down the side.

On 12/13/2010 the victim was loading groceries into her car when a Black male came up behind her and grabbed her purse. The purse strap was slung over her shoulder and body and the victim did not let go of her purse. Suspect jumped in a green car and then started to pull away dragging the victim beside the car for several feet before she could let go. The Black male was seen in the store with a shorter Hispanic female. Homicide

Facts of Case:
The East Lansing Police Department (ELPD) is
currently investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the 1600 block of Abbot at approximately 1:15 a.m. on Saturday December 11, 2010.
East Lansing and Clinton County 911 centers received numerous calls of gunshots being fired in the 3600 block of Coleman Road (Crossing Place Apartments). East Lansing officers responding to the original call came across a vehicle in the 1600 block of Abbot and observed several subjects running from the vehicle.
Officers discovered the driver had a gunshot wound. He was identified as Adrian Donte House a 20 year old from Detroit. He died as a result of the gunshot wound.
Witnesses to the shooting stated that several vehicles were involved in a confrontation on the roadway and provided a description of the possible suspect vehicle in the incident.
East Lansing Police are looking for a 1993-1996 Cadillac 4 doors, silver or light color, tinted windows, shiny rims and a loud exhaust. The vehicle had 4-5 occupants and was last seen going S/B Abbot, north of Saginaw Hwy.

Armed Robbery in Meridian Township
On November 16, 2010, a woman was robbed at the drive-up ATM at the Bank of America ATM, 2731 Grand River Ave, East Lansing. The suspect approached the woman as she sat in her vehicle next to the ATM. The suspect displayed a knife and told her to leave after her withdrawal had dispensed. The victim complied. The man fled on foot from the scene.
The suspect is a white male in his late teens or early twenties with light brown hair. He wore a dark-colored zip-up coat, a lighter colored “hoodie” underneath, blue jeans, and tennis shoes. He also wore a brown knit cap and a multi-colored bandanna on his face.

On 11/16/2010 there were three armed robberies in the south side of Lansing that appear to have been related. They took place at Subway Restaurant 5025 S. Cedar at 7:16 am, Family Dollar 5810 S. On October 1, 2010 Lansing Police responded to a business at 901 E. Gier on a stolen vehicle complaint. The business had two vehicles taken from their property during the night hours. Homicide - March 31, 2010
Location: 600 Block of N. Sycamore Street
Lansing, MI.
Facts of Case: At approximately 9:26 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31st, 2010, Lansing Police Officers responded to reports of a shooting that had just occurred in the 600 block of N. Sycamore Street.
Upon arrival, Lansing Police discovered a male victim on the east side of the road. The victim, 43 year old, Julius Mack-Arthur Glover, was transported to a local hospital, and was subsequently pronounced dead of a gunshot wound.
Witnesses at the scene described a group of subjects arguing, followed by gunshots. Witnesses were able to describe the following person wanting in questioning in this case.
The subject is described as having a medium complexion, B/M, 5’7”- 5’9” tall, weighing approximately 160#- 170#.

On 10-29-10 at 6:30 in the morning a unknown suspect committed a home invasion at 424 Michigan Ave. The suspect entered the apartment building shortly before 6:30 A.M and began walking the Hallways, the suspect was observed checking all the apartment doors. He located an unlocked door and while the residents were sleeping the suspect stole a TV, XBOX and Lap top computer. In the photo he is seen taking a 42” flat screen TV.
Suspect then left by the North exit into the parking lot.

UNLAWFUL DRIVING AWAY OF AN AUTOMOBILE - 10-2-2010
On 9/21/10 a white GMC box truck bearing the name "Reliable Power Washing" was taken from a residence on Jefferson in Holt. The vehicle was located submerged in the Grand River near the Gale Rd bridge just north of Onondaga. All the power washing equipment, stereo equipment, tools, and strobe lights were stolen from the vehicle.

On Sunday 8/8/10 between 12:30 and 12:45 A.M. a felonious assault took place in front of 210 S. Washington Square. The victim was assisting one of the security personal at Brannigan Brothers in down town Lansing and while he was struggling with an identified subject an unknown subject described as a black male, wearing a sideways hat, approached the victim from behind and slashed his face with an unknown object.
Both the accused and the subject the victim was struggling with fled on foot.

Homicide - Lansing Police Department
Location: 3800 Block of Schlee Street
Lansing, MI.
Facts of Case: At approximately 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 1st, 2010, Lansing Police Officers responded to a report of an assault that had just occurred in the 3800 block of Schlee Street.
Upon arrival, Lansing Police discovered a male victim suffering from injuries sustained during an assault. The victim, 24 year old, Zachary John Chapman, was transported to a local hospital, and was subsequently pronounced dead, as a result of his injuries. Chapman’s death was ruled a homicide.
Witnesses at the scene described hearing what they believe to be a fight occurring near the sidewalk/street of the 3800 block of Schlee Street. The victim is was a resident of this neighborhood.
The Lansing Police Department is asking for your help in solving the homicide of Zachary John Chapman.

Home Invasion / Criminal Sexual Assault 7-28-2010
Below is the description:
The Ingham County Sheriff's Office is seeking information about an Armed Robbery that occurred on May 28, 2010 6:38 p.m. in the 2400 Block of S Cedar in Holt. The victims were in their vehicle parked at the outdoor ATM making a withdrawal when they were approached from behind by a white male with a hand gun. The suspect pointed the weapon at the female who was making the withdrawal and demanded money.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid twenties, approximately 5' 6" to 5' 8" with a stocky build. He had some facial hair. His face was partially covered by a hat pulled down over his eyes. He was wearing a brown polo style shirt with lighter colored horizontal stripes.

Facts of Case: On May 3, 2010, a subject entered the business at 1000 N Washington Ave. and took an item that had been left on the counter. The victim was in a back room and heard someone enter but they were gone by the time he came back to the front.
The adjacent business observed the subject in the picture go from their business over to 1000 N Washington.

Aggravated Felonious Assault
The Lansing Police Department responded to 5200 Block of Sunrose Ave. on 5/25/2010 at 6:20 pm on an assault call. The victim had approached several subjects who were in Bluebell Park and had asked the subjects to stop swearing.
Several of the subjects then assaulted the victim.
One of the accused subjects is described as a black male, larger muscular build, no facial hair, age in the mid 20's. This accused was wearing a brown shirt with gold writing or markings on it, and got into a White Monte Carlo when he left the scene.

Credit Card Fraud - 4/28/2010
Meridian Police Department
Facts of Case: The Meridian Township Police Department is seeking information on the identity of two men suspected of credit card fraud. The suspects used stolen credit cards at stores in Okemos in April of 2010.
The first subject is a white male, late teens to mid-twenties, with dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, and dark-colored jeans. The second subject is also a white male, late teens to mid-twenties, with short hair. He was wearing an oversized red/maroon zip-up sweat-shirt.

Location: Wal-Mart at Eastwood Towne Centre, 3225 Towne Centre Blvd, Lansing, MI 48912.
Facts of Case: On March 17, 2010 the subject shown in the photograph came into the Eastwood Towne Centre Wal-Mart and took approximately $20.00 in cash out of the March of Dimes Donation jar located inside the Flagstar Bank inside the Wal-Mart store.
The subject is described as a black male, 6’ tall / 195 lbs, 18-25 years old. He had very long black hair that was braided.

Armed Robbery of Subway
On Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 9:25 p.m. Meridian Township Police responded to an armed robbery of the Subway at 1630 Haslett Road. A man entered the store and displayed a semi-automatic handgun, and demanded money from the employee. An undisclosed amount of money was taken and the employee was not injured. The suspect fled on foot from the store.
The suspect was described as a white male, in his late 20's to early 30's, 5'10" to 6'0" tall, medium build with brown hair and a mustache and goatee. The man was wearing a stocking cap, and a black jacket.
Armed Robbery of 7-Eleven
On Tuesday, April 21, 2010, at 11:10 p.m., Meridian Township Police responded to an armed robbery of the 7-Eleven at 3500 Okemos Road. A man entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the employee. An undisclosed amount of money was taken and the employee was not injured. The suspect fled on foot from the scene.
The suspect was described as a white male, in his late 20's to early 30's, wearing a
black jacket and blue jeans.

Facts of Case: At approximately 4:35 p.m. on the afternoon of March 25th Lansing Police responded to the 3200 block of Glasgow Drive. A person returned home and found two of their room mates 23-year-old Owen Goodenow and 18-year-old Darren Antonio Brown murdered. Several people interviewed have mentioned a link to drug sales as a possible motive. ROBBERY 03-10-2010
On March 8, 2010 at 11:42 p.m. the Walgreens store located at 3425 E. Saginaw in Lansing was robbed. A man entered the store and went to the pharmacy counter were he indicated that he had a gun and demanded drugs. Once he obtained the drugs from the Walgreens employee he left the business.
The accused was described as a,
White or Hispanic male, 5’5” to 5’8”, 180 to 200 pounds, accused was wearing a grayish puffy hoody and stain washed jeans. The subject had a tan fleece that he pulled over his face.

Facts of Case: On 02-27-2010 we had a strong-armed robbery. Two Black males took a wallet from the victim as she was walking into Snyder Hall on the Michigan State Campus. Later that same day two subjects were photographed after attempting to use a credit card taken in the robbery at Meijer located on S. Pennsylvania in the city of Lansing. Facts of Case:
On 12/26/2009 between 3 and 4 o’clock p.m. a victim had her wallet and credit cards stolen from Meridian Mall.
The victim’s credit cards were later used at a Speedway in East Lansing. Police are trying to identify two black males and a black female (see photo’s) in connection with this theft.
Subjects left the Speedway in a silver Ford mini-van.

Fatal Hit and Run
On December 16 2009 at about 6:30 P.M., a Fatal Hit and Run accident occurred on Vermontville Hwy, east of Canal Road in Windsor Twp.
The victim (Bradley Harvey of Dimondale) was riding his red moped eastbound when he lost control and overturned. He was then struck by an eastbound vehicle that left the scene
Witnesses described the vehicle that struck him as an early 2000 light colored sedan, possibly a four door.
Witnesses also stated that the passenger headlight on the suspect vehicle appeared to be wobbling, as if it were loose.

Facts of Case: Someone broke into the John Beam Building located at 1305 S. Cedar on Monday 12/21/09 at approximately 0430 hours. Security cameras captured these images of the person believed to have committed the break in. Several items were taken along with a HP laptop computer. Employees at this location believe they have seen this subject before in the area and that he might live near in the neighborhood. Armed Robbery
On December 8, 2009 at approximately 4:49 P.M, an armed robbery occurred at Co-America Bank, located at 2615 Lake Lansing Road in Lansing Township.
Police are looking for a white male suspect, in his 40's with a thin goatee, 5'10” to 6’0” tall, heavy 230 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue skull hat, blue plaid coat, blue pants and large dark sunglasses.
The suspect indicated to the bank tellers that he had weapon, but the weapon was not seen. Suspect indicated that he had previously worked at a bank. He left the bank on foot in an unknown direction and no vehicle was observed.

Facts of Case: On Saturday 11/28/2009 at approximately 9:37 PM two subjects broke in to the St Vincent DePaul store located at 1020 S. Washington Ave. in Lansing. The two subjects gained access through the rear door of the business. During the break in the subjects activated an alarm that forced them to shorten their criminal activity. Officers were dispatched but the subjects were gone prior to their arrival.

Armed Robbery
An armed robbery occurred at Fifth Third Bank, 1204 S. Business 127 in St. Johns on November 5, 2009 at approximately 12:30 p.m.
Police are looking for a white male suspect, in his 50's to possibly near 60 years old, 6'0” to 6’2” tall, clean shaven, with glasses that shade automatically in sunlight, wearing a black stocking cap, black carhartt-type coat, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Location: Meridian Township
Facts of Case: Sometime between June 12th and June 17th 2009 a resident in Meridian Township noticed his credit card missing from his wallet. The victim then checked his credit card statement and found multiple unauthorized purchases. Several of the purchases were made at various local stores that included a Speedway.
The person of interest in the photographs appears to be a black male with a husky build and bald with a full beard. If anyone has any information as to the identity of this subject please contact Crime Stoppers or the Meridian Township Police at 853-4800.

Location: Meridian Mall Okemos
Facts of Case: On the afternoon of June 16, 2009 two victims had their credit cards stolen from their purses in the back room of a store they worked at in the Meridian Mall in Okemos.
The suspects then went to area Meijers and purchased gift certificates with the stolen credit cards. The pictures below are of two females of interest. Anyone who may have information to their identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers 483-STOP or the Meridian Township Police at 853-4800.

Homicide - August 1st, 2009
Location: 916 W. Cavanaugh #3 - Lansing, MI. 48910
Facts of Case: During the late evening hours of August 1, 2009 (approximately 10:18pm) shots were fired thru the garden level apartment window at 916 W. Cavanaugh #3 (Terrace View Apartments). Nineteen year old Edric Raynard Hinton was inside the apartment and was struck by the gunfire and subsequently died from his injuries.

Armed Robbery - August 19th , 2009

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Armed Robbery of the Hansen’s Quick Stop Party Store/Gas Station located on M-21 in the village of Ovid MI. On 8-19-2009 at approximately 11 pm a lone white male subject entered the store brandishing a black handgun believed to be a Semi Automatic and demanded money from the clerks. The suspect is described as a white male in his late teens or early 20’s, approximately 5’8” tall, thin build with dirty blond hair. The suspect was wearing a white or gray in color-hooded sweatshirt with a blue in color t-shirt pulled over it. The suspect was wearing a white knit cap with a small bill and had a white cloth rag covering his face. The suspect fled the scene on foot with just over $100 cash. Two vehicles seen in the area following the robbery are described as a newer model Chevrolet short box pick up truck or SUV dark in color or an older model full size standard cab pickup, white in color. Armed Robbery - July 2nd, 2009

On July 2, 2009 at about 10:30 p.m. the Citgo Gas Station located at 500 W. Mt. Hope in Lansing was robbed. Two men entered the store demanding money. One of the men was armed with a handgun. As the men were exiting, the man with the gun turned around and shot the clerk in the stomach.
There have been about 10-armed robberies in the Tri-County Area recently. In at least 4 of the robberies a weapon was fired. We believe these may be the same suspects. In some robberies only 2 men will come in and in other robberies there have been 3 individuals involved.

June 10th, 2009 - Arson in Grand Ledge
On April 3, 2009, a fire at the Grand Ledge Transportation Facility located at 12730 Nixon Road, caused in excess of $270,000 in damage to several buses and the transportation facility. The fire was determined to be arson.

Facts of Case: Back on November 23, 2008 Eaton County Sheriff's Department responded to a breaking and entering at 4800 W. Saginaw at about 4:00 o'clock in the morning. Two Black males entered the business and stole several television sets. The subject where believed to be driving a silver colored mini-van, unknown make.

March 29th, 2009 - Arson
On the morning of 3/29/09 the East Lansing Police and Fire Departments responded to three separate garage fires believed to be caused by arson. The first fire occurred at 3:30 am in the 400 block of Grove Street, the second at 3:37 am in the 500 block of Gunson Street, and the third fire occurred at 3:45 am in the 400 block of Division Street. The fires completely destroyed three garages, caused structural damage to three homes, and damaged seven vehicles. The monetary damages for all three fires combined, is in excess of $100,000.
Double Homicides - July 2, 2006


On July 2, 2006 between the hours of 7:30 pm and 10:00 pm Thomas and Viola Hefton both in there 70's from Tucson Arizona were shot to death inside the home of their daughter and son in law Sandra and Larry Spitler of 1413 N. Watson road, St Johns, Michigan.
The Heftons were last seen leaving a local St Johns restaurant drive through just after 7:00 pm. Prior to that they were seen at the St. Johns Wal Mart store. Neighbors in the area of the Watson road residence reported hearing a gun shot atapproimately 9:30 pm. The Heftons spend every summer at the St Johns residence and have done so for the past 20 years.
On the weekend the Heftons were murdered Larry and Sandra Spitler along with their two sons were away at a family cottage in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and upon their return home they discovered there loved ones dead. There were no apparent signs of forced entry into the residence, and the motive for the homicides is unknown.

BURGLARY
On Tuesday, January 1, 2008 (New Years Day) at approximately 1045 pm, the Dansville Marathon gas station was broken into. Video shows 3 males approach the station, break a window and enter. All 3 males were wearing masks and stole merchandise. Shortly after the break-in, there was a heavy snowfall. It is believed that the males left on foot and may have been seen in the area. The gas station has since become a BP station.
Any information that leads to the identification and arrest of the accused could lead to an award of up to $1,000. The owner of the gas station has also offered an additional $500 for information leading to a conviction.

GPS THIEF
The Eaton County sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of thefts at the Lansing Mall Younkers. The man in these pictures has been involved in a series of thefts that targeted GPS devices at the Lansing Mall store.
The male in these pictures stole 7 GPS systems by concealing them in a black trash bag. He left the store and got into a black SUV, possibly a Landrover, with a silver rimmed spare tire on the rear of the vehicle. The SUV appeared to be new, either a 2008 or 2009 model.
The accused is a B/M, 5’10”, approx 225 lbs. He was wearing a light blue hat and a brown leather jacket with fur trim.
It is unknown if this subject is connected to an accused featured on the 12-24-08 Crime Stoppers show. That subject assaulted a Younkers security officer while attempting to steal GPS units.
Thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise can be attributed to these criminals. Any information that leads to the identification and arrest of the accused could lead to an award of up to $1,000.

Homicide on 12-11-08
On 12-11-08 at approximately 3:30 pm, Lansing Police Department officers responded to a call reference an open apartment door. 29-year old Averill Jeree LeMon was found inside, deceased with a gun shot wound to the chest. The victim was also known as Ave Realz. It is believed that LeMon was killed in the early hours of 12/11/08 inside the apartment.
Investigators have determined that a flat screen television was taken from the apartment during the crime. A newer model Chrysler 4-door sedan was seen in the parking lot during the time of the homicide.
Police are seeking information on the homicide, the television, and the vehicle. Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for tips leading to a Felony Arrest or issuance of a Felony Warrant in this crime.

MISSING PERSON

Lansing, MI. The Michigan State Police, Lansing Post, are investigating a missing person incident. The missing person is identified as Krista R. Lueth, 34 years old of Lansing.
Krista Lueth was last seen on November 11th at her residence on Eureka Street in Lansing. She has not been seen or heard from since that day. She was reported missing to the State Police on November 15th by her Father.
Krista Lueth is white and is 5’4” tall, weighing approximately 125 lbs. She has brown hair and blue eyes.

Police in Livingston County are searching for a man wanted for beating an elderly male. Michigan state police have identified one of two suspects involved in the October 29th beating of a man in Genoa Township as Noah Richard Lovell III. Four warrants are out for his arrest, including torture, armed robbery, unlawful imprisonment and first degree home invasion. Anyone with information on Lovell's whereabouts can call 911 or the state police post in Brighton at 810 227-1051.
